AAC panel

It's the shortened form of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Panel. The main materials of AAC panel are silicon sand, cement, lime etc. Reinforced with anti-stain processed steel bar, the concrete panel with many air holes was formed after high-temperature, high-pressure protection with steam. It's a new type constructional material with excellent functions. There are patents of Germany and Sweden and Japan included in the production equipments. The complete production process, from mixing raw material, anti-stain processing of steel bar, organizing into frame, pouring paste on, cutting, steaming and pressing to surface processing, is calculated accurately with computer program and has a rigid QC control.

In most cases it is possible to retro-fit an opening into Eastland walls. Professional advice must be sought to ensure the structural framing is suitable for this modification.

 

Q: How do I attach other external items to our Eastland walls?

A fixing guide is provided to assist you in selecting the appropriate fixing method for the object you are to secure to the walls.

 

Q: How do I drill penetrations into the Eastland for such things as external lights or speakers?

Holes can be drilled in Eastland walls using a masonry drill bit fitted to a standard (not rotary hammer) drill. Once the penetration has been filled with the required cables or the like, the gap around the penetration should be filled with a reputable flexible sealant such as Sikaflex polyurethane sealant.

 

Q: How long will the coating system last?

Eastland coating systems are permanent. Like all surfaces exposed to the elements, preventative maintenance will keep it looking its best and preserve its optimum performance.
